A Message from Father Gruner
Now and then we reach a
milestone in our lives: a special
event that invites us to pause and
look back on the path we have
trod and look forward to the
distance we have yet to travel.
The publication of this 100th
commemorative edition of The
Fatima Crusader is such an event
for me and, perhaps, for some of
you who have traveled this long
road with me these past 33 years.
The first emotion that wells up in me as I consider all that has gone into the fight to keep alive Our Lady’s Message through The Fatima Crusader is gratitude.
Above all, my thanks go to Jesus and Mary!
I also want to take this opportunity to thank all my staff, who have stood by me through thick and thin; who have never wavered, even when it seemed that all the odds were against us. I have included a section in this supplement to introduce you to some of them.
I am also grateful to you – The Friends of Fatima – for all your prayers and all your work and your moral and financial support. You have my thanks, the thanks of our staff, and, most importantly, the thanks of Our Lady.
We are able to publish The Fatima Crusader because of 2 things: Our Lady’s blessing and your generosity.
If either are withdrawn, we would cease to function. Actually, one is dependent on the other: If Our Lady did not bless this work, you would not be moved by grace to contribute to it.
You are singled out by grace. You know about Fatima. You are being invited by Our Lady to continue even more to be part of this holy cause.
Our Lady exists both in time and in eternity. In Heaven, She is ever blissful, gazing on the face of Her Son. When She comes to Her children on Earth, She is still glowing with that everlasting love, and She comes to help us and to draw us even closer into that love.
The Message of Fatima is, above all else, an invitation to join Our Lord and Our Lady in this embrace of eternal love.
The Fatima Crusader, with your help, with your prayers, with your unflagging devotion, will continue to shine in this dark world as a beacon of truth and a flame of eternal love.
Father Nicholas Gruner P.S. Of course, our thanks especially go toall the Cardinals, Bishops, Priests and Religious who support us by their prayers, sacrifices and moral support and their Apostolic endeavors.
http://www.fatimacrusader.com/cr100/cr_100_supplement.pdf Congratulations and Encouragement for The Fatima Crusader’s 100th Edition Dear Beloved Father!
I knew, by your secretary, the news of the 100th issue of The Fatima Crusader magazine: Congratulations!
During many years, your heart beats for the salvation of souls, as Our Lady asks us. In the year 1976, I began to work with Our Lady of Fatima, but since October 2001, in Rome with you, during the International Conference “THE LAST CHANCE OF PEACE” I understood better the Fatima Message, to diffuse it more.
Thank you, Father! For your help! Thank you for all I received from you, from your ministry in Rome and Tuy, from your Fatima Crusader magazine!
CONGRATULATIONS for the 100th issue for PEACE and SALVATION of souls! God bless you always! Our Lady of Fatima gives you more HEALTH, STRENGTH and HOLINESS!
I pray for you!
Father Pierre Diallo Burkina Faso Dear Father Gruner, Congratulations for the 100th Issue of The Fatima Crusader magazine! It has been a work well-done of spreading the Message of Our Lady of Fatima throughout the world! The messages of Our Lady of Fatima, through your magazine, have been very inspiring sources of our belief in Our Lady Mary for all of us here in Malawi who love Mary Our Mother and Her messages of hope as we journey towards our final destination. Once again, congratulations and keep up with the good and up-to-date communication of the Messages of Our Lady of Fatima.
Congratulations to the whole editorial team and all contributors of articles about Our Lady Mary to The Fatima Crusader magazine. With the help of the Holy Spirit, you did it yesterday, you are doing it today, you will always do it!
Yours in Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, Father M. Kankhono Malawi http://www.fatimacrusader.com/cr100/cr_100_supplement.pdf I am glad to know that The Fatima Crusader magazine is going to bring out soon its 100th issue of its publication. I deem myself privileged to be counted one among its vast number of readers and admirers. Being an ardent devotee of Our Lady of Fatima, I find the numerous articles published in the magazine very informative, inspiring and instructive.
The magazine has only one aim and ambition – namely, to promote and make known the message and the promises that Our Blessed Mother revealed to the three visionaries of Fatima way back in 1917.
Fr. Gruner, a tireless apostle and courageous crusader of Our Lady, has left no stone unturned to proclaim loud and clear and promote, using every means possible, the Fatima Message far and wide, writing personally so many articles in the magazine. For this he deserves our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation. Like the late Archbishop Fulton J.
Sheen, he is very close to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Having had the privilege of meeting him in person at the last Fatima Conference in Rome, I was very much impressed by his simplicity, childlike deep faith and fidelity to the Church in spite of so many controversies. I cherish happy memories of his inspiring and filial devotion to the Blessed Mother, reciting the Rosary on his knees! I pray for the success of his apostolate. As per Her demand made at Fatima may Russia be consecrated to Her Immaculate Heart at the earliest! This is my earnest desire and ardent prayer. I wish the centenary celebration of The Fatima Crusader magazine God’s choicest blessings! May the Immaculate Heart of Mary triumph! May She bless abundantly all those who are in some way or other involved in the publication of this inspiring magazine.
Father Xavier Johannes-Bernard India Congratulations and more power to the 100th issue of The Fatima Crusader magazine. We find a big help in teaching Mariology, particularly the historical account of Our Lady of Fatima as She appeared to the three seers – i.e. Francisco, Jacinta and Lucia – using The Fatima Crusader magazine as a tool for learning. I congratulate Fr. Nicholas Gruner for his undying efforts in proclaiming the message of Our Lady of Fatima, particularly for Russia’s conversion to the Act of Consecration to Our Lady of Fatima. I am looking forward to “CONSECRATION NOW”.
Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us. Amen Fr. Mike B. Adriosula Philippines http://www.fatimacrusader.com/cr100/cr_100_supplement.pdf The Fatima Crusader helps me, as a member of the Fatima Movement of Priests, to ever be aware of my responsibility and obligation to support the Holy Father, who is often surrounded by enemies, both within and without, through prayers, as he makes his efforts to consecrate Russia to Our Lady.
The Fatima Crusader reminds me of my crucial influence to my parishioners to enlist their prayers in Our Lady’s service. This serves as a conscience, as I carry out my daily pastoral services.
Congratulations on your 100th issue!
Father Remigius Kasawa Malawi I am exuberantly happy to learn that you are going to make the 100th issue of The Fatima Crusader magazine.
At this historic moment I wholeheartedly congratulate Rev. Fr.
Nicholas Gruner for his untiring zeal in spreading the Message of Fatima, his unparalleled devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary of Fatima, his informative and insightful articles in every issue, his ardent desire to make known the Third Secret of Mother Mary and above all his uncompromising attitude towards the Divine Will.
I gratefully acknowledge and appreciate the great service that all the members of the Fatima staff do for the propagation and promotion of Marian Devotion throughout the world.
Thanking you for your service with love and prayers, Fr. Joseph Lazar India Word of appreciation to Fr. Nicholas Gruner, The real and the accurate Gospel message reached “Every Corner” only when man began to read. The Message (of Jesus) touched every heart especially from 50 onwards as the education says. But the letters, magazines, pictures about God have a greater impact even to the uncivilized in strengthening the faith. In this regard the issue of The Fatima Crusader is really ahead in helping even the Protestants to have faith in Our Lady because they too are reading (it is available on the internet). So for this God-given opportunity, I would like to congratulate http://www.fatimacrusader.com/cr100/cr_100_supplement.pdf Rev. Fr. Nicholas Gruner for his strenuous work in publishing his 100th issue of The Fatima Crusader.
Thanks and hearty congratulations, dear Father Nicholas Gruner.
With prayers, Fr. Inti Xavier Andhra Pradesh, India Many thanks to Father Nicholas Gruner and his associates for keeping alive attention to the unfulfilled requests of the Blessed Virgin Mary in 1917 at Fatima, Portugal. The Popes and their advisers will have much to answer for on Judgment Day for their failure to fulfill these requests from the Mother of God. Hopefully they will do what She asks before the world will suffer the consequences for their failure to act.
Rev. Raymond V. Dunn, OSJ USA Congratulations to The Fatima Crusader for its 100th faithful edition. Blessings on Father Nicholas Gruner, the indomitable Captain of the ship. God prosper it as a Cruiser to His truth, a Destroyer for His enemies and a Battleship for future engagements.
Father Stephen Somerville USA and Canada Dear Respected & Rev. Fr. Gruner, I am very happy to tell you that the Indian readers of your Crusaders are delighted by your writings. Your Crusaders are elegant, informative, and devotion provoking. It is great news for the readers in India. Readers, both the clergy and lay, do support you, Fr. Gruner, for the vast knowledge about the Fatima Message and your firm stand on the “Secret yet to be revealed”. The learned Catholics here treat you as the only person in the world who has the thorough knowledge about the Message of Fatima. In fact the people look on you as a saintly person and do pray for you too from cities to villages in India.
Wherever I visit and distribute the Crusaders and the other devotion propagation materials, I could see in their eyes the gratitude http://www.fatimacrusader.com/cr100/cr_100_supplement.pdf each one has for you and the Fatima Apostolate.
Your Crusaders are a source of vast information for the readers in India. People are very eager to read Fatima Crusaders. The number of enquiries I get from readers as to when will be the next Crusaders show the interest the Indian readers have towards your writings. I, representing the clergy and lay in India, wish you Congratulations, Prayers and all the very best, dear Father, in all your future endeavors. Let the Crusader issue 100 be a milestone in the Fatima Message.
Sincerely Yours in Our Lady of Fatima, Father Justin India “To look is one thing, To see what you look at is another.
To understand what you see is a third.
To learn from what you understand is still something else.
But to act on what you learn is all that really matters.” By this little quotation of John Eldredge, I wish that our readers of the 100th issue of The Fatima Crusader magazine will help to act for all of us the TITANIC WORKS of our Rev. Fr. Nicholas Gruner.
Congratulations, dear Father, we wish you a milestone ahead and pray to Our Lord to bless you and your staff. May God bless you always.
Fr. Blaise Mascarenhas, SFX, Pilar Father Goa Province – Society of Pilar India To our dearest Father Gruner, I admire your very courageous efforts to realize the requests Our Lady of Fatima asked of us.
Your journey in this matter has been full of challenges. You have faced them all with courage and determination (certainly bestowed on you by Our Lady of Fatima).
My prayers are with you, dearest Father Gruner.
I also appreciate all in your team – they are all wonderful people with a “fire” in them to see that Our Lady’s dreams come true.
God bless you all.
Father Anthony Cyril Sri Lanka A great admirer and friend of Fr. Gruner.
